Letter to Charles du Bos, 1924 June 20.

Miró writes to the French literary critic Charles Du Bos, who had invited him to a meeting at the Abbaye de Pontigny. Unfortunately, Miró cannot attend it because the dates coincide with the wedding of his eldest daughter. Du Bos's letter made him meditate about his life as a writer, and he wonders if the select community of Pontigny will accept him the following summer. (Madrid, 23 June 1924.)
